Transwomen are left to cope with severe discrimination and violence. Theprevailing social barriers prevent them from integrating into the mainstream of society. Their issues are not heard or addressed. Through the remarkableefforts of SUDAR the rights of these excluded transwomen are protected to a large extentby providing psychosocial care and various skill-based programmes that will empower them to face the challenges of life.

Tailoring Coursesat theSUDAR Project Centre.
This free tailoring course for the Transgenders commenced on 1st March 2021 at the SUDAR Project centre, Mylapore, Chennai. They have been attending the classes along with other students from 2:00– 4:00pm.On completion of the course, tailoring machines were provided for each transgender who attended the Government Certification Examination.
